Max(imillian)
Jaeger (1869-1943) served as Game Warden in Iron County for about
twenty years ending in 1936. He and his wife, Eleanor
McCarthy (c. 1872-1929), settled in Iron River in the early 1900s
(1902/1906). Max had worked for the Northwestern Railroad
and was crushed in a car collision and lost his right arm.
They
had two surviving daughters:

Geraldine
Mona Jaeger, who married Charles Sharoff c. 1924 and had one
daughter, Mona.

Margaret
Gertrude Jaeger who married Joseph Brown McKenna
in 1915 and had one surviving daughter, Margaret Eleanor
McKenna.
